But fear not! We have the air conditioning on! Talk about spoiled!
That being said, we already know that the heat won't stop you from reaching your fitness goals. You just need to tweak your approach a bit. So check out these awesome summertime fitness tips to stay strong, healthy, and ready to conquer the world!
Hydration
- Drink to thirst. Overconsuming water can be problematic
- Avoid (excessive) caffeine intake
- Add a pinch of salt to your water
Temperature Control
- Sweating is a good thing! Bring a towel
- Wear loose fitting or moisture-wicking clothing
- Find a fan! Grab that perfect workout spot
Energy Levels
- Add in some fruit juice before a workout
- Avoid excessive sun exposure
- Take your time adjusting
We program our workouts with weather in mind. We have been building up in intensity so that you can handle the heat without fail! Your body will adjust naturally to the temperature and humidity changes but it can take up to 2 weeks!
