Girl dinner" has been sweeping the internet, it’s the concept that “anything will do” for dinner.
Often these are high-calorie and low-nutrient foods. The issue with these types of food choices is that while they do meet a desire for quick food, we’re left with a nutritional deficit.
Our bodies are literally built from what we consume. Without proper nutrition, our brains and bodies are not able to function optimally, we miss out on feeling well, and have a diminished capacity for disease prevention.
Instead try the 80/20 or 90/10 diet. 80-90% of the time, eat whole foods and balanced meals that include ½ of your plate having veggies, ¼ protein, and ¼ complex carb.
Limit processed food and sugars. 10-20% of the time, allow yourself more wiggle room on your meal choices.
You deserve to feel your BEST!
