“A friend is a gift you give yourself.” — Robert Louis Stevenson
When I was younger GOAT meant something different. And I'm not talking about the cute farm animal that can climb walls like Spiderman.
Back in the day, 4 score and 7 years ago, or yesterday, whatever, we used to dedicate time to working on our goat.
In those days, goat was short for scapegoat. Or in the context of exercise, a weakness of yours.
Simply put, something you could use some work on.
In today's workout, we have a rare set up --> Giving you options.
Choose between pull up variations to try to get better at them.
The reason this is a difficult choice is that you might always want to pick the most difficult variation of a movement, but that's not always ideal.
In today's workout, pick a variation of pull-up that will get you better.
This means good quality reps. Full range of motion. Proper muscular engagement. Controlled tempo. Doing what you can and doing it well.
In today's workout, focus on that one thing and get it right.
